The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the voluntary retirement (VRS) of IAS officer Ravindra Pal Singh (IAS:2014:UP). A notification to this effect was issued by the Appointment Department on Thursday. Singh, currently serving as Special Secretary, Language, had sought VRS citing personal reasons. The state government granted approval following clearance from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Singh had submitted his VRS application in February 2023. His wife Nidhi Srivastava (IAS:2014:UP), is currently serving as the District Magistrate of Badaun.
