UP: Eight IPS officers shifted, Piyush Mordia is now ADGP, Varanasi Zone

The Uttar Pradesh on Monday (12.02.2014) issued transfer and posting orders for eight IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Ram Kumar (IPS:1995:UP), ADGP, Varanasi Zone, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Human Rights.
2. Piyush Mordia (IPS:1998:UP), ADGP, Lucknow Zone, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Varanasi Zone.
3. Amrendra Kumar Sengar (IPS:1995:UP), waiting for posting, has been posted as ADGP, Lucknow Zone.
4. Nilabja Choudhary (IPS:2000:UP), Joint CP, Crime & Hqrs, Kanpur Commissionerate, has been transferred and posted as IG (Provisioning) PAC Hqrs.
5. Chandra Prakash-II (IPS:2004:UP), IG Intelligence Hqrs, has been transferred and posted as IG, Training Directorate.
6. Vipin Kumar Mishra (IPS:2008:UP), DIG PAC Sector Varanasi, has been transferred and posted as Additional CP, Crime & Hqrs.
7. Sureshwar (IPS:2010:UP), DIG PAC Hqrs, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Intelligence Hqrs.
8. Kamlesh Kumar Dixit (IPS:2014:UP), Commandant 37th Battalion PAC Kanpur, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Lucknow Commissionerate.
