The deputation tenure of Amit Singh (IRSS:2002) as Secretary to UP CM Yogi Adityanth has been extended until August 2025. His appointment as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister was made in April 2017.
Before being appointed to the Chief Minister’s Office, Singh was posted as Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow, in the Ministry of External Affairs. He has also worked as CPRO, NER, and NER GM’s Secretary in Gorakhpur.
