The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday (21.07.2023) gave another six-month extension to Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority CEO Arun Vir Singh. He also oversees the Noida International Greenfield Airport Project in Jewar, Greater Noida, since its approval stage.
This is his fourth extension since June 2019, after retiring from the UP government. He will continue as Yeida CEO till December 2023. Singh will also continue to work as CEO of Noida International Airport Limited. This company was formed by the Uttar Pradesh government for monitoring and controlling the development of the airport project.
The project is slated to become operational by 2024’s end. The state government wants to complete this project ahead of its deadline and doesn’t want to make any changes at Yeida’s top level.
