UP: 8 DMs among 19 IAS officers shifted

In a late-night development on Monday, the Uttar Pradesh government executed the transfer of 19 IAS officers, a move that notably involved the District Magistrates (DMs) of eight districts. Several of these officers had been stationed at the same location for a continuous three-year period. The decision to transfer them was made in compliance with the directives issued by the Election Commission.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Rakesh Kumar Singh-II (IAS:2016:UP), District Magistrate, Ghaziabad, and Vice Chairman, Ghaziabad Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Kanpur City.
2. Vishak G Iyer (IAS:2011:UP), District Magistrate Kanpur City and Vice Chairman, Kanpur Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Aligarh.
3. Indra Vikram Singh (IAS:2010:UP), District Magistrate of Aligarh, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Ghaziabad.
4. Ravindra Kumar Mandar (IAS:2013:UP), District Magistrate, Rampur, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Jaunpur.
5. Rakesh Kumar Mishra-II (IAS:2012:UP), District Magistrate, Amethi, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Planning,
6. Sujit Kumar (IAS:2010:UP), District Magistrate of Kaushambi, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Infrastructure & Industrial Development Department.
7. Sanjay Kumar Singh-I (IAS:2012:UP), District Magistrate, Farrukhabad, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate of Rampur.
8. Nisha (IAS:2015:UP), Secretary, UP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Amethi.
9. Gazal Bharadwaj (IPS:2016:UP), Commissioner of Saharanpur Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, UP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Lucknow.
10. Sanjay Chauhan (IAS:2014:UP), Commissioner of Moradabad Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Saharanpur Municipal Corporation.
11. Divyanshu Patel (IAS:2017:UP), Special Secretary, Food Safety and Drug Administration Department and Additional Commissioner, Food Safety and Drug Administration Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Moradabad Municipal Corporation.
12. Jogindra Singh (IAS:2013:UP), Vice Chairman, Bareilly Development Authority and Divisional Food Controller, Bareilly, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Pilibhit.
13. Manikandan A (IAS:2017:UP), CDO, Agra, has been transferred and posted as Vice Chairman, Bareilly Development Authority and Divisional Food Controller, Bareilly.
14. Pratibha Singh (IAS:2020:UP), Joint Magistrate, Amroha, has been transferred and posted as CDO, Agra.
15. Rajesh Kumar Rai (IAS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, Home and Prisons Administration & Reform Services, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Kaushambi.
16. Praveen Mishra (IAS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, Namami Gange & Water Supply Department and Joint MD, UP Jal Nigam (Rural), Lucknow.
17. Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh (IAS:2013:UP), Special Secretary, Estate Deptt. and Estate Officer, UP, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Farrukhabad.
18. Arun Kumar (IAS:2012:UP), District Magistrate, Mau, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Namami Gange & Water Supply Department and Joint MD, UP Jal Nigam (Rural), Lucknow.
19. Anuj Jha (IAS:2009:UP), District Magistrate of Jaunpur, has been transferred and posted as ACEO, State Election Commission.
