UP: 7 senior IPS officers shifted

The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday (01.01.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 7 senior IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are given below:

1. K S Pratap Kumar (IPS:1993:UP), ADGP, PAC, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Gorakhpur Zone.
2. Rajiv Sabharwal (IPS:1993:UP), ADGP, Meerut Zone, Meerut, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Dr. BR Ambedkar Academy, Muradabad.
3. Akhil Kumar (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP, Gorakhpur Zone, Gorakhpur, has been transferred and posted as Police Commissioner, Police Commissinerate, Kanpur.
4. Dhruvkant Thakur (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP, UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Meerut Zone, Meerut.
5. Sujit Pandey (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP, APTC, Sitapur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, PAC, Lucknow.
6. Ashok Kumar Singh (IPS:1995:UP) has been posted as ADGP, UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow.
7. Dr. Ram Krishna Swarnkar (IPS:1996:UP), Police Commissioner, Police Commissionerate, Kanpur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, APTC, Sitapur.
