UP: 58 IPS officers promoted

As many as 58 IPS officers in Uttar Pradesh were elevated to higher ranks, with effect from January 1, 2025. On New Year’s Eve, the state government announced these promotions, which include one officer elevated to the rank of Director General (DG), three to Additional Director General (ADG), 12 to Inspector General, 27 to Deputy Inspector General (DIG), and 15 to Selection Grade.
