UP: 5 IAS officers shifted, Akshat Verma posted as Municipal Commissioner of Varanasi

The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday late night issued transfer posting orders for five IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Akshat Verma (IAS:2017:UP), CDO, Sitapur, has been transferred and posted as new Municipal Commissioner of Varanasi.
2. Pulkit Garg (IAS:2016:UP) has been posted as Vice-Chairman (VC) of Varanasi Development Authority (VDA)
3. Sipu Giri ( IAS:2017:UP), VC of Varanasi Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Higher Education Department.
4. Satya Prakash (IAS:2016:UP), Additional Commissioner, Excise, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner of Jhansi.
5. Deepa Ranjan (IPS:2013:UP), has been posted as Mission Director in National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM)
