UP: 4 DMs among 7 IAS officers shifted

The Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday (17.09.2023) initiated another round of restructuring in the state’s bureaucratic machinery, involving the transfer of seven IAS officers, including four District Magistrates.

Here are the details of the officers and their new postings:

1. Mala Srivastava (IAS:2009:UP), District Magistrate, Raebareli, has been transferred and posted as Director, Geology and Mining.
2. Harshita Mathur (IAS:2013:UP), District Magistrate, Kasganj, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Raebareli.
3. Sudha Verma (IAS:2010:UP), Joint State Election Commissioner, State Election Commission, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Kasganj.
4. Prakash Chandra Srivastava (IAS:2010:UP), District Magistrate, Pratapgarh, has been put on waiting list.
5. Sanjiv Ranjan (IAS:2013:UP), District Magistrate, Siddharthnagar, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Pratapgarh.
6. Pawan Agarwal (IAS:2015:UP), Chief Executive Officer, Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority, Gorakhpur, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Siddharthnagar.
7. Anuj Malik (IAS:2017:UP), Divisional Food Controller, Gorakhpur, and Special Executive Officer, Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority, Gorakhpur, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority, Gorakhpur
