UP: 3 IPS, 2 PPS officers transferred

In a significant administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, the state government on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) late evening ordered the transfer of five senior police officers, including three IPS and two PPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

  1. Rohan P Kanay (IPS:2009:UP), DIG/Principal, PTS, Gorakhpur, has been transferred and placed on the waiting list at the DGP Office for further posting..
  2. Poonam (IPS:2010:UP), DIG, PAC Section, Agra, has been transferred and posted as DIG/Principal, PTS, Meerut.
  3. Satendra Kumar (IPS:2010:UP), DIG/Principal, PTS, Meerut, has been transferred and placed on the waiting list at the DGP Office for further posting..
  4. Anil Kumar-I (PPS:1994), Additional SP, PTS, Gorakhpur, has been transferred and posted as In-charge Principal, PTS, Gorakhpur.
  5. Niharika Sharma (PPS:1997), Additional SP, Central Reserve Store, Kanpur City, has been transferred and posted as In-charge Commandant, 26th Battalion PAC, Gorakhpur.
