The Union Home Ministry on Friday (15.09.2023) issued an order to promote twenty-six Provincial Police Service (PPS) officers to the Indian Police Service (IPS). During the Departmental Promotion Committee meeting held on August 21, approval was granted to promote 26 officers from the 1993 and 1994 batches to the IPS cadre. Following presidential authorization, all of them have officially been promoted to IPS cadre.
The PPS officers who have been promoted to the IPS cadre include are;
