The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday effected a reshuffle in police administartion by transferring 12 IPS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Vishwajit Mahapatra (IPS:1987:UP) : DG, Special Investigation.
- Sunil Kumar Gupta (IPS:1993:UP) : ADG, Telecom.
- Ashok Kumar Singh (IPS:1995:UP) : ADG, Traffic and Nodal Officer, Road Safety.
- Ravi Joseph (IPS:1995:UP) : AGD/DG, GSO.
- Jyoti Narayan (IPS:1996:UP) : IG, Law and Order
- N. Ravindra (IPS:1996:UP) : DG, Provisioning and Budget.
- Vijay Prakash (IPS:1996:UP) : IG, Police Fire Service.
- Dharamveer (IPS:2002:UP) : IG, Home Guard.
- Shagun Gautam (IPS:2010:UP) : SP, Rampur.
- Santosh Kumar Mishra (IPS:2012:UP) : SP, Police Headquarters (Prayagraj)
- Manoj Kumar Sonkar (IPS-SPS-1994) : Commandant, 8th Battalion PAC, Meerut.
- Surykant Tripathi (IPS-SPS-1994) : Commandant, 44th Battalion PAC, Meerut.
