Umme Fardina Adil appointed Deputy Secretary in Department of Economic Affairs

Umme Fardina Adil (IRS-IT:2013), who was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Revenue, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (March 30, 2026), the competent authority has approved her appointment to the post for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
