A group of officers, including Udayan Banerjee, is poised for advancement to the rank of Additional Director General within the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order, dated Wednesday (21.02.2024), revealing that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given its nod for the empanelment of these officers.
As per the approval, these officers are now empanelled in level-15 of the pay matrix for the panel year 2024. This empanelment is effective from the date they assume charge of their respective posts and remains valid until further orders are issued. The decision marks a significant step in recognizing and elevating the roles of these officers within the CISF hierarchy.
