The Centre, on Thursday, notified the appointments to two advocates, Bhargav Dhirenbhai Karla and Sangeetha Kamalsingh Vishen, as judges of Gujarat High Court. Their names were recommended by the High Court collegium in December 2016.
Last December, the SC collegium forwarded their proposals to the centre, along with the name of advocate Megha Bhupendra Jani. However, Megha Jani later withdrew her consent for judgeship.
