Two Judicial Officers appointed as Judges in High Courts

The Union government on Wednesday (12.02.2025) notified the appointment of two Judicial Officers as Judges in two High Courts.

They are;

1. Yarenjungla Longkumer, Judicial Officer: Gauhati High Court
2. Chaitali Chatterjee (Das), Judicial Officer: Calcutta High Court

Their appointments follow the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium, which had proposed their names on January 4, 2024.
