The central government on Tuesday (25.03.2025) approved the empanelment of two officers of 1991 batch for promotion to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner/ Principal Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes). These officers will now serve in Level 17 of the Pay Matrix (Apex Scale) against the panel year 2025 w.e.f the date of assumption of charge of the post, not before 01.04.2025, and until further orders.
They are;
- Chandra Prakash Goyal
- Prachi Saroop
Regular posting of the officers will be decided in due course with the approval of the Competent Authority. Till then, they shall assume the charge of the promotional post on in-situ (as is where is) basis.
