Two IPS officers have been appointed as Superintendents of Police within the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI):
- R Ram Kumar (IPS:2015:JH)
- P Krishnakant (IPS:2016:KN)
This appointment was officially approved by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Monday, the 16th of October 2023. The IPS officers are appointed on a deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assuming their new roles or until further orders are issued.
