The Narendra Modi government on Tuesday cleared the empanelment of 02 IPS officers (1987 batch) to hold Director General/ Director General Equivalent posts in Government of India.
They are ;
- Mukul Goel (IPS:1987:UP) : DG/DG Equivalent
- V K Bhawra (IPS:1987:PB) : DG Equivalent
Presently, Goel is DGP of Uttar Pradesh whereas Bhawra is working as DG, Home Guards and Director of Civil Defence, Punjab.
