Two Additional Judges of Gauhati HC made Permanent

The Union government on Friday (17.01.2025) notified the appointment of two Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court as Permanent Judges of that High Court.

These judges are ;

1. Justice Kardak Ete, and
2. Mridul Kumar Kalita

The Supreme Court Collegium had approved the proposal for appointing the two Additional Judges of Gauhati High Court as Permanent Judges of the Court vide notification dated January 7, 2025.
