Tuhin Kanta Pandey (IAS:1987:OR), Secretary of Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). According to an order issued by the DoPT on Monday (04.11.2024), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post to Mr. Pandey with immediate effect and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
It is noteworthy that Vivek Joshi (IAS:1989:HY), the previous DoPT Secretary, was repatriated to his parent cadre in Haryana on October 26 and appointed Chief Secretary.
