Tripura : Three IAS officers assigned addl. responsibilities

The Tripura government has assigned additional responsibilities to its three IAS officers in the state.

They are :

1. Shashi Ranjan Kumar (IAS:1992:TR) : Principal Secretary Public Works, Industries & Commerce (Information Tchnology) and Power Departments with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Governor, Tripura will also hold the charge of chairman (Non-Executive), Tripura State Electricity/ Corporation Ltd., Agartala.
2. Barun Kumar Sahu (IAS:1992:TR) : Principal Secretary, Revenue (including RR & Disaster Management), Home (Jail), Home (Fire Service) Department with additional charge of DG, SIPARD, Agartala will also hold the Home Department.
3. Apurba Roy (IAS:2006:TR) : Special Secretary, Planning with additional charge of Director of Planning & Coordination will hold the charge of Planning (including Statistics), Department, independently. He will Continue to hold the charge of Director of Planning & Co-ordination. He will report to the chief Secretary for Coordination matters.
