Tripura: 13 IPS officers shifted, Soumitra Dhar posted as IG, Law & Order

The Tripura government on Saturday (22.04.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for thirteen IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. GS Rao (IPS:1999:TR), IGP, Crime Intelligence, has been transferred and posted as IGP, TSR & Ops.
2. Soumitra Dhar (IPS:2004:TR), IGP, TSR & Ops, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Law & Order.
3. Lalhminga Darlong (IPS:2004:TR), IGP, Law & Order, has been posted as posted as IGP, Crime & Inetlligence.
4. Ipper Manchak Dnyanoba (IPS:2008:TR) has been posted as DIGP, Southern Range and Northern Range, Tripura.
5. Avula Ramesh Reddy (IPS:2007:TR) has been posted as DIGP, Hqrs.
6. Krishnendu Chakraborty (IPS:2010:TR), SP (SB) with additional charge of SP, Vigilance, has been transferred as In-charge DIGP, Crime & Intelligence with additional charge of SP (SB) & SP (Vigilance).
7. Sudipta Das (IPS:2012:TR), AIGP, Hqrs, has been transferred and posted as SP, Economic Offences.
8. Sankar Debnath (IPS:2011:TR), SP, West Tripura, has been transferred and posted as AIGP, Hqrs.
9. Kiran Kumar K (IPS:2014:TR), SP, North Tripura has been transferred and posted as SP, West Tripura.
10. Rati Ranjan Debnath (IPS), SP, Khowal, has been transferred and posted as SP, Serious Crime.
11. Dr. Ramesh Chandra Yadav (IPS:2018:TR), SP, Dhalai District, has been transferred and posted as SP, Khowal District.
12. Avinash Rai (IPS:2019:TR), Addl. SP (Rural), West District, has been transferred and posted as SP, Dhalai District.
13. Namit Pathak (IPS:2019:TR), SDPO, Sabroom, has been transferred and attached to PHQ (waiting for posting).
