TN: Six IAS officers shifted

The Tamil Nadu government on Thursday (16.11.2023) effected a minor bureaucratic reshuffle by issuing transfer and posting orders for six IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. M Prathap (IAS:2017:TN), Joint Managing Director and Project Director (World Bank and Asian Development Bank) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Special Programme Implementation Department.
2. J Jayakanthan (IAS:2005:TN), Special Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise.
3. D Rathna (IAS:2011:TN), Director of Prohibition and Excise, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.
4. B Gayathri Krishnan (IAS:2013:TN), Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, State Taxes, Coimbatore, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority for appointment as its Chief Administrative Officer.
5. Dr. K Vijayakarthikeyan (IAS:2011:TN), Secretary, State Human Rights Commission, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board for appointment as its Executive Director. He shall also hold the full additional charge of Secretary, State Human Rights Commission.
6. Shreya P Singh (IAS:2013:TN), Additional Director of Agriculture, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Ltd. for appointment as its Executive Director.
