The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Friday (15.12.2023) approved a proposal from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) for the empanelment of Abhai Kumar Rai (IRSE:1988) and two other officers for promotion to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety (CCRS) in the Commission of Railway Safety, which corresponds to Level 17 of the Pay Matrix, for the panel year 2023.
It is noteworthy that the previous month saw the empanelment of three officers—Ms. Madhavi (IRSSE), Brijesh Kumar Mishra (IRSE), and Dinesh Chandra Deswal (IRSE)—for holding the position of Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety in the Commission of Railway Safety.
