The central government on March 24, 2025, approved the empanelment of three officers of the 1995 batch for promotion to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes).
These officers will now serve in Level 15 of the Pay Matrix (HAG) against the panel year 2025 on an ad-hoc basis.
The officers are:
- BAV Srinivasa Rao
- Lalit Prasad
- Ranjit Kumar
The promotions of BAV Srinivasa Rao and Lalit Prasad are effective from the date of assumption of charge of the post, while Ranjit Kumar’s promotion will be effective no earlier than April 1, 2025.
