The Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy, has appointed V Sheshadri (IAS:1999:TG) as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, and B Shivadhar Reddy (IPS: 1994: TG) as the intelligence chief. Meanwhile, IPS officer Shahnawaz Qasim (IPS:2003:TG) has been assigned the role of Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Sheshadri, a seasoned IAS officer, has previously served as the Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and as the Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). His responsibilities included overseeing revenue matters. In the cadre state, he has held key positions such as Commissioner of the Registration and Stamps Department, as well as serving as Joint Collector and Collector of United Ranga Reddy District.
On the other hand, Shahnawaz Qasim is currently fulfilling the role of Inspector General of Police (Multi Zone-II) in Hyderabad.
