The Telangana government on Tuesday (02.05.2023) promoted three Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of the 2005 batch to the rank of Inspector General of Police (IGP).
They are;
- Avinash Mohanty
- P Vishwa Prasad
- M Ramesh
They all have retained their existing posts. Avinash Mohanty is the Additional Commissioner of Police (Addl. CP) in Cyberabad, P Vishwa Prasad is the Additional Commissioner of Police (Addl. CP) in Hyderabad, and M Ramesh is the IGP Provisioning and Logistics in Hyderabad.
