Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday (13.05.2025) appointed senior IAS officer Sandeep Kumar Sultania (IAS:1998:TG) as the new Principal Secretary, Finance Department. He will replace K Ramakrishna Rao (IAS:1991:TG), who was elevated to the post of Chief Secretary of the state two weeks ago.
Sultania is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Sports Department, and is known for his administrative experience across various departments. His appointment marks a key administrative shift in the finance portfolio, one of the most crucial departments in the state bureaucracy.
