Telangana: Major administrative shake-up, 40 IAS officers among 44 transferred

The Telangana government on Monday (24.06.2024) implemented a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the state’s administrative setup. A total of 44 officers were transferred, including 40 IAS officers, 2 IPS officers, 1 IFS officer, and 1 IA&AS officer.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Sabyasachi Ghosh (IAS:1994:TG), Principal Secretary (Youth Services), YAT&C Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry Dairy Development & Fisheries Department.
2. Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1995:TG), who is waiting for posting orders, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Labour, Employment, Training & Factories Department.
3. A Vani Prasad (IAS:1995:TG), Principal Secretary, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology Department, has been transferred and posted Principal Secretary, Youth Affairs, Tourism, Culture & Sports Department.
4. Shailaja Ramaiyer (IAS:1997:TG), Principal Secretary, Youth Affairs, Tourism, Culture & Sports Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Endowments and Principal Secretary (Handlooms, Textiles & Handicraft) in the Industries & Commerce Department. The MoS is also placed in FAC of the posts of Director, Handlooms & Textiles, VC&MD, YG Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd and MD, TGCO.
5. Ahmad Nadeem (IAS:1997:TG), Principal Secretary, Planning Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology Department. The Mos is also placed in FAC of the post of DG, EPTRI.
6. Sandeep Kumar Sultania (IAS:1998:TG), Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, RWS, RSAD Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Finance Department. The Mos is also placed in FAC of the post of Principal Secretary, Planning Department.
7. Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi (IAS:1999:TG), Principal Secretary to Government, Energy Department is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Government, Commercial Taxes & Excise Department.
8. C Sudharshan Reddy (IAS:2002:TG), Managing Director, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board(HMWS&SB) has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Services & HRM), General Administration Department.
9. Jyoti Buddha Prakash (IAS:2002:TG), Commissioner, Transport is transferred and posted as Secretary, Registrations & Stamps and Secretary, Housing. The MoS is also placed in FAC of the posts of Commissioner & Inspector General, Registrations & Stamps, Commissioner, Survey Settlements & Land Records and PD, Bhubharathi. She shall continue as Commissioner, Transport, till Ilambarithi K (IAS:2005:TG). reports for the said post.
10. Soni Bala Devi (IFS:2002:TG), Special Secretary, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department is transferred and posted as Managing Director, Sports Authority of Telangana.
11. Ilambarithi K (IAS:2005:TG), on his reporting to the cadre, is posted as Commissioner, Transport.
12. D Ronald Rose (IAS:2006:TG), Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is transferred and posted as Secretary, Energy Department. The MoS is placed in FAC of the posts CMD,GENCO & TRANSCO.
13. A V Ranganath (IPS:2006:TG), Inspector General of Police, Multi- Zone-1, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Enforcement, Vigilance & Disaster Management, GHMC.
14. A Sridevasena (IAS:2008:TG), Commissioner, School Education is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Collegiate & Technical Education.
15. Sarfaraz Ahmad (IAS:2009:TG), Joint Chief Electoral Officer, O/o CEO, Telangana is transferred and posted as Metropolitan Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).4
16. D Divya (IAS:2010:TG), Director, Municipal Administration is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty(SERP). The MoS shall also hold the post of State Nodal Officer, Prajavani.
17. Amrapali Kata (IAS:2010:TG), Joint Metropolitan Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is placed in FAC of the post of Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC).
18. Harichandana Dasari (IAS:2010:TG), who is waiting for posting, is posted as Special Secretary, Roads & Buildings Department.
19. Nyalakonda Prakash Reddy (IPS:2010:TG), Director, Vigilance & Enforcement & Disaster Management, GHMC is transferred and posted as Managing Director, TG Tourism Development Corporation Limited in place of K Ramesh Naidu (IPS:2006:TG).
20. Alagu Varsini V S (IAS:2012:TG), Director, Handlooms & Textiles, VC&MD, TG Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd and MD, TGCO, is posted as Secretary, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational institution Society (TSWREIS).
21. VP Gautham (IAS:2014:TG), who was waiting for posting, has been posted posted as Special Secretary, Housing. The MoS is also placed in FAC of the post of Director, Municipal Administration. The MoS will hold FAC of the posts of Director, Weaker Section Housing Programme; MD Telangana State Housing Corporation; CEO, DILL; VC & Housing Commissioner, Telangana Housing Board and MD Telangana Rajiv Swagruha Corporation Ltd.
22. Krishna Aditya S (IAS:2024:TG), Director, Labour is placed in FAC of the post of Director, Employment & Training.
23. K Ashok Reddy (IAS:2014:TG), Director, Horticulture, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board(HMWS&SB).
24. Anuraag Jayanti (IAS:2015:TG), who is waiting for posting orders, has been posted as Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, Khairtabad.
25. Bhavesh Mishra (IAS:2015:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, is posted as Deputy Secretary, Information Technology, Electronic & Communication Department.
26. G Ravi (IAS:2015:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Member Secretary, Telangana Pollution Control Board.
27. K Nikhila (IAS:2015:TG), Director, Tourism is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Telangana Institute of Rural Development(TGIRD).
28. Sk Yasmeen Basha (IAS:2015:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, Horticulture & Sericulture. The MoS is also placed in FAC of the post of Managing Director, TGOILFED.
29. S Venkata Rao (IAS:2015:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, is posted Director, Protocol and Joint Secretary (Protocol), GAD.
30. P Uday Kumar (IAS:2016:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Joint Secretary, Agriculture & Cooperation Department.
31. B Gopi (IAS:2016:TG), Director, Agriculture is placed in FAC of the post of Director, Animal Husbandry.
32. Priyanka Ala (IAS:2016:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, Fisheries.
33. lla Tripathi (IAS:2017:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, is posted as Director, Tourism.
34. Sneha Shabarish (IAS:2017:TG), Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, Serilingampalli is transferred and posted as Addl.Commissioner, GHMC.
35. P Katyayani Devi (IAS:2017:TG), Chief Executive Officer, Telangana Institute of Rural Development(TGIRD), is posted as Joint Managing Director, State Finance Corporation.
36. EV Narasimha Reddy (IAS:2017:TG), Director, Tribal Welfare is transferred and posted as Director, School Education. The MoS is also posted as Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana Education & Welfare lnfrastructure Development Corporation (TGEWIDC) and State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. On transfer, Mallaiah Battu is repatriated to his parent department i.e., BC Welfare.
37. Bhorkade Hemant Sahadeorao (IAS:2018:TG), who was awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Managing Director, TG Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (TSMSIDC).
38. Hemanta Keshav Patil (IAS:2019:TG), Additional Collector, Revenue, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, LB Nagar.
39. Apurv Chauhan (IAS:2020:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Jogulamba Gadwal is transferred and Commissioner, GHMC, Kukatpally.
40. Abhishek Augustya (IAS:2020:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Medchal Malkajgiri is transferred as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Khammam.
41. B Rahul (IAS:2020:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Mancherial is transferred and posted as PO, ITDA, Bhadrachalam.
42. Ms. P Gouthami (IAS:2021:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Rajanna Sircilla is transferred and posted as Joint Managing Director, Musi River Development Corporation Ltd. (MRDCL).
43. P Upender Reddy (Non-Cadre), Addl. Commissioner, GHMC is transferred and posted as Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, Serlingampalli.
44. Nikhil Chakravarthi (IA&AS:2014), on his reporting to the State Government, as Executive Director, TGIIC.
