Telangana: Major administrative restructuring, 20 Districts get new Collectors

The Telangana Government on Saturday (15.06.2024), issued transfer and posting orders for IAS officers, particularly District Collectors. This reshuffle was anticipated following the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Since Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy assumed office six months ago, only a minor reshuffle involving about a dozen officers had previously taken place.

The names of the officers and their places of posting are as follows;

1. Muzammil Khan (IAS:2017:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Peddapalli, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Khammam.
2. Badavath Santhosh (IAS:2016:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Mancherial, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Nagarkurnool.
3. Sandeep Kumar Jha (IAS:2014:TG), Joint Managing Director, Transco, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Rajanna Sircilla.
4. Anuraag Jayanri (IAS:2015:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Rajanna Sircilla, has been posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Karimnagar.
5. Ashish Sangwan (IAS:2016:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Nirmal, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Kamareddy.
6. Jitesh V Patil (IAS:2016:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Kamareddy, has been posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Bhadradri Kothagundem.
7. Rahul Sharma (IAS:2017:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Vikarabad, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Jayashankar-Bhupalpalli.
8. Sikta Patnaik (IAS:2014:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Hanamkonda, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Narayanpet.
9. Koya Sree Harsha (IAS:2018:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Narayanpet, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Peddapalli.
10. P Pravinya (IAS:2016:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Warangal, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Hanamkonda.
11. Budumajji Satya Prasad (IAS:2018:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Khammam, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Jagtial.
12. B Vijiendra (IAS:2006:TG), Special Secretary, TR&B, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Mahabubnagar.
13. Kumar Deepak (IAS:2018:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Nagarkurnool, has been transferred and posted Collector & District Magistrate, Mancherial.
14. Prateek Jain (IAS:2017:TG), PO, ITDA, Bhadrachalam, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate of Vikarabad.
15. Narayana Reddy (IAS:2015:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Vikarabad, has been posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Nalgonda.
16. Adarsh Surabhi (IAS:2018:TG), Municipal Commissioner, Khammam, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Wanaparthy.
17. Tejas Nandial Pawar, Collector & District Magistrate, Wanaparthy, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Suryapet.
18. M Satya Sarada Devi (IAS:2015:TG), Joint Secretary, Agriculture & Coorperation Department, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Warangal.
19. Divakara TS (IAS:2017:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Jagityal, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Mulugu.
20. Abhilasha Abhinav (IAS:2018:TG), Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Nirmal.
