Telangana Director General of Police (DGP), Anjani Kumar on Tuesday (25.07.2023) conducted an interstate DGP conference on left-wing extremism (LWE). A key objective of this conference was to improve coordination and information-sharing among states that are fighting LWE.
DGPs Rajnish Seth (Maharashtra), Ashok Juneja (Chhattisgarh), K. Rajendranath Reddy (Andhra Pradesh), CRPF IG, South, Charu Sinha, senior officials from the Central Intelligence Bureau were present along with additional DGs Anil Kumar (Intelligence); Vijay Kumar (Greyhounds), Sanjay Jai (Law & Order), Chief of Operations T. Prabhaker Rao and senior IPS officer Rajeev Meena.
The conference also emphasised joint training and joint operations.
