Telangana: 7 Collectors among 33 IAS officers shifted

In a significant administrative overhaul, the Telangana government on Thursday (12.06.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 36 officers, including 33 IAS, 2 IFS, and 1 IA&AS officer. Among the changes, seven officers holding the post of Collector & District Magistrate have been transferred.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Shashant Goel (IAS:1990:TG), Special Chief Secretary to Government, Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government and Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhawan, New Delhi.
2. Navin Mittal (IAS:1996:TG), Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Energy Department.
3. N Sridhar (IAS:1997:TG), Principal Secretary, SCD Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, PR & RD RWS & RSAD Department. He will continue to hold the FAC of Principal Secretary, Mines & Geology.
4. Jyoti Buddha Prakash (IAS:2002:TG), Secretary (Registration & Stamps), Revenue Department and Secretary, Housing, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, SCD Department. He is also placed in FAC of the post of Secretary, Planning Department and EO DG, Telangana Remote Sensing Application Centre (TGRAC).
5. Lokesh Kumar DS (IAS:2003:TG), Additional CEO is placed in FAC of the post of Secretary, Revenue Department. He is also placed in FAC of the post of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA).
6. Gaurav Uppal (IAS:2005:TG), Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Coordination (GoI Project & CSS) in Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi.
7. B Bharathi Lakpathi Naik (IAS:2006:TG), Secretary, PE Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, TG, Information Commission.
8. Harichandana Dasari (IAS:2010:TG), Spl Secretary (R&B), TR&B Department, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Hyderabad.
9. Killu Sivakumar Naidu (IAS:2011:TG), Additional Commissioner, GHMC, has been transferred and posted Commissioner, R&R and LA, I&CAD Department.
10. Rajeevgandhi Hanumanthu (IAS:2012:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Nizamabad, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary (Registration & Stamps), Revenue Department. He is also placed in FAC of the posts of Commissioner & IG, Registration & Stamps, Commissioner, SS & LA and PD, Bhubharathi.
11. T Vinay Krishna Reddy (IAS:2013:TG), Commissioner, R&R and LA, I&CAD Department, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Nizamabad.
12. G Srijana (IAS:2013:TG), Director, PR & RD is placed in FAC of the post of Director, WCD & SC.
13. Siva Sankar Lotheti (IAS:2013:TG), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Joint Secretary, Agriculture & Cooperation Department. He is also placed in FAC of the post of Joint Secretary, Revenue (DM) Department.
14. Chittem Lakshmi (IAS:2013:TG), awaiting posting orders, has been posted Joint Secretary, General Administration Department.
15. K Hymavathi (IAS:2013:TG), Project Director, AIDS Control Society, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Siddipet.
16. Vasam Venkateswar Reddy (IAS:2013:TG), Director, Youth Services, has been transferred and posted as Project Director, AIDS Control Society. He is also placed in FAC of the post of Director, Institute of Health & Family Welfare.
17. VP Gautham (IAS:2014:TG), Special Secretary, Housing, is placed in FAC of the post of Secretary, Housing.
18. Gowtham Potru (IAS:2015:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Medchai Malkajgiri, has been transferred and posted as Director, P&P, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).
19. K Nikhila (IAS:2015:TG), CEO, TGIRD, has been transferred and posted as Director, Fisheries. She is also placed in FAC of the of CEO, TGIRD.
20. Valluru Kranthi (IAS:2016:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Sangareddy, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.
21. P Uday Kumar (IAS:2016:TG), Joint Secretary, Agriculture & Cooperation Department, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Arogyasri Health Care Trust. He is also placed in FAC of the post of Spl Secretary, PE Department.
22. Priyanka Ala (IAS:2016:TG), Director, Fisheries. has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC).
23. P Pravinya (IAS:2016:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Hanamkonda, has been transferred and posted Collector & District Magistrate, Sangareddy.
24. A Nirmala Kanthi Wesley (IAS:2016:TG), Director, WCD & SC, has been transferred and posted as Secretary & CEO, Telangana Human Rights Commission. He will continue to hold the FAC of VC & MD, Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation.
25. Mikkilineni Manu Choudary (IAS:2017:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Siddipet, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Medchal Malkajgiri.
26. Muzammil Khan (IAS:2017:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Khammam, has been transferred and posted as Director, Civil Supplies. He is also placed FAC of Joint Secretary, Civil Supplies and Chief Rationing Officer, Hyderabad.
27. Sneha Shabarish (IAS:2017:TG), Additional Commissioner, GHMC, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Hanamkonda.
28. Anudeep Durishetty (IAS:2018:TG), Collector & District Magistrate, Hyderabad, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Khammam.
29. Dr E Naveen Nicolas, (IAS:2018:TG), Secretary, TGPSC, has been transferred and posted as Director, School Education. He is also placed in FAC of State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha.
30. Chekka Priyanka (IAS:2018:TG), Deputy Secretary, MA & UD Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner, I&PR and EO Special Secretary, GA (I&PR) Department.
31. Chahat Bajpai (IAS:2019:TG), Municipal Commissioner, Karimnagar Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), Warangal.
32. Ashwini Tanaji Wakade (IAS:2020:TG), Municipal Commissioner, Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), Warangal, has been transferred and posted as Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Karimnagar.
33. Praful Desai (IAS:2020:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Karimnagar, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Greater Karimnagar Municipal Corporation.
34. B Shafiullah (IFS:2003:TG), Spl Commissioner, Rural Development, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Minority Welfare Department. He is also placed in FAC of Director, Minorities Welfare and Secretary, TG Minority Residential Educational Institute Society (TGMREIS).
35. VSNV Prasad (IFS:2009:TG), Director, Civil Supplies, has been transferred and posted as Director, Urban Forestry, HMDA.
36. Nikhil Chakravarthi (IA&AS:2014), Executive Director, TGIIC, has been transferred and posted as Director, Industries.
