Following the appointment of the new Chief Secretary, the Telangana government on Sunday (27.04.2025) carried out a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 20 IAS officers across the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- Dr. Shashank Goel (IAS:1990:TG), Director General, Dr MCR HRD Institute, has been transferred and posted as Vice Chairman, Centre for Good Governance. He is also placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Director General, EPTRI.
- Jayesh Ranjan (IAS:1992:TG), Special Chief Secretary, ITE&C and Sports Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary & CEO, Industry & Investment Cell in CMO and Smart Proactive Efficient and Effective Delivery. He is also placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Special Chief Secretary, YAT&C Department and Director, Archaeology.
- Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1995:TG), Special Chief Secretary, LET&F Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department & ITE&C and Sports Department.
- M Dana Kishore (IAS:1996:TG), Principal Secretary, MA & UD Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, LET&F Department. He is also place in FAC of the posts of Commissioner, Labour; Director, Insurance Medical Services and Director, Employment & Training. Further, he will continue in FAC of the of Principal Secretary, Governor.
- Smita Sabharwal (IAS:2001:TG), Secretary, YAT&C Department and Director Archaeology, has been transferred and posted as Member Secretary, TG Finance Commission.
- Dr. TK Sreedevi (IAS:2004:TG), Commissioner & Director, Municipal Administration, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Municipal Administration Department (outside HMDA). She is also placed in FAC of the post of Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, MA Department (for Municipalities & Corporations outside ORR limits)
- Ilambarithi K (IAS:2005:TG), Commissioner, GHMC, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Metropolitan Area & Urban Development Department (HMDA Limits).
- RV Karnan (IAS:2012:TG), Director, Health & Family Welfare is transferred and posted as Commissioner, GHMC.
- K Shashank (IAS:2013:TG), Commissioner, State Flagship Projects, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Future City Development Authority (FCDA) with FAC of Director, Mines & Geology.
- S Harish (IAS:2015:TG), Special Commissioner, I&PR & EO, Special Secretary, GA (I&PR) Department, has been transferred and posted as CMD, GENCO with FAC of the posts of Special Commissioner, I&PR & EO, Special Secretary, GA (I&PR) Department and Joint Secretary (DM), Revenue Department.
- K Nikhila (IAS:2015:TG), CEO, TGIRD, has been placed in FAC of the post of Secretary & CEO, Telangana Human Rights Commission.
- S Sangeetha Satyanarayana (IAS:2015:TG), Joint Secretary to Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Director, Health & Family Welfare with FAC of the post of CEO, Arogyasri Health Care Trust.
- S Venkata Rao (IAS:2015:TG), Director, Protocol and Joint Director (Protocol), GAD, has been transferred as Director, Endowments with FAC of Executive Officer, Yadagirigutta Temple.
- P Katyayani Devi (IAS:2017:TG), Joint MD, State Finance Corporation, has been transferred and posted as CEO, SERP.
- EV Narsimha Reddy (IAS:2017:TG), Director, School Education, has been transferred and posted as Addl. CEO, Industry & Investment Cell & SPEED, with FAC of MD, Musi River Development Corporation Ltd (MRDCL).
- Bhorkhade Hemant Sahadeorao (IAS:2018:TG), MD, Telangana Medical Services Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGMSIDC), has been transferred and posted as Zonal Commissioner, GHMC.
- G Phaneendra Reddy (IAS:2018:TG), Chief Rationing Officer, Hyderabad, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Telangana Medical Services Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGMSIDC).
- P Kadhiravan (IAS:2020:TG), Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Hyderabad, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, PR & RD.
- K Vidya Sagar (Non-Cadre), OSD to Chief Secretary, has been transferred and posted as Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Hyderabad with FAC of Chief Rationing Officer, Hyderabad.
- R Upendra Reddy (Non-Cadre) has been posted as Secretary, HMDA.
