The Tamil Nadu government on Monday (01.07.2024) effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the state by issuing transfer orders for several IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings details are as follows;
- Dr. K Manivasan (IAS:1993:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department.
- Dr. B Chandra Mohan (IAS:1995:TN), Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments Department.
- Mangat Ram Sharma (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department.
- Dr. P Senthil Kumar (IAS:1992:TN), Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Environment, Climate Changes and Forest Department.
- Supriya Sahu (IAS:1991:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Environment, Climate Changes and Forest Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department.
- Gagandeep Singh Bedi (IAS:1993:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.
- Pradeep Yadav (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Highways and Minor Ports Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department.
- Dr. R Selvaraj (IAS:2006:TN), Project Director, Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project-II, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Highways and Minor Ports Department.
- A John Louis (IAS:2011:TN), MD, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director of Social Security Scheme.
- M Vijayalakshmi(IAS:2009:TN), Additional Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy.
- Dr. N Venkatachalam (IAS:2011:TN), Commissioner of Land Reforms, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Archives and Historical Research.
- T N Hariharan (IAS:2013:TN), Project Director/Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Land Reforms.
- R Lilly (IAS:2009:TN), formerly Special Secretary, Municipal Administrative and Water Supply Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Transport Department.
- Sandeep Saxena (IAS:1989:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd. for appointment as its Additional Chief Secretary/ CMD.
- Dr. M Sai Kumar (IAS:1990:TN), Additional Chief Secretary/ CMD, Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investments Corporation Ltd (TIIC) for appointment as its Additional Chief Secretary/ CMD.
- Dr. C N Maheswaran (IAS:2005:TN), Chairman, Overseas Manpower Corporation, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Salt Corporation Ltd for appointment as its MD.
- Dr. R Vaithinathan (IAS:2016:TN), Director of Information and Public Relations shall hold full additional charge of the post of MD, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation.
- T S Jawahar (IAS:1990:TN), Additional Chief Secretary/Project Director, Tamil Nadu Irrigated Agriculture Modernisation Project shall hold full additional charge of Secretary, Social Reform Department.
