The Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday (11.10.2023) implemented a substantial reorganization within the state’s administrative framework, issuing transfer orders for nine IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- G Lakshmipathy (IAS:2015:TN), Sub Collector, Chengalpattu, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Thoothukudi District.
- M Thangavel (IAS:2017:TN), Joint Managing Director & Project Director (World Bank and Asian Development Bank Projects), Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Karur District.
- Dr T Prabhushankar (IAS:2013:TN), Collector, Karur District, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Tiruvallur District.
- E Sundaravalli (IAS:2007:TN), Managing Director, State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Employment and Training.
- K Veera Raghava Rao (IAS:2007:TN), Commissioner of Employment and Training, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Technical Education.
- Dr K Senthil Raj (IAS:2012:TN), Collector, Thoothukudi District, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu for appointment as its Managing Director.
- Dr Alby John Varghese (IAS:2013:TN), Collector, Tiruvallur District, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Chennai for appointment as its Managing Director.
- Srutanjay Narayanan (IAS:2020:TN), Sub Collector, Tiruppur has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of District Rural Development Agency, Villupuram for appointment as its Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer.
- P Rathinasamy (IAS), Commissioner, Corporation of Vellore, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of District Rural Development Agency, Ramanathapuram for appointment as its Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer.
