Tamil Nadu : Govt posts four IAS officers as new secretaries to CM

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday posted four IAS officers as new secretaries to the Chief Minister MK Stalin on the first day of him assuming office.

The officers are ;

  1. T. Udhayachandran (IAS:1995:TN), who was the Commissioner of Archaeology, has been posted as the Principal Secretary/ Secretary I.
  2. P. Umanath (IAS:2001:TN), Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation, has been appointed as Secretary II.
  3. M.S. Shanmugam (IAS:2002:TN), the Commissioner of Museums, has been appointed as Secretary III.
  4. Anu George (IAS:2009:TN), Industries Commissioner and Director, Industries and Commerce, has been appointed as Secretary IV.
