Tamil Nadu: Five IAS officers get Chief Secretary grade

The Tamil Nadu government on Monday (16.12.2024) promoted five 1994-batch IAS officers to the Chief Secretary grade, following temporary sanction for the creation of Additional Chief Secretary rank posts.

The name and department of these officers are as follows:

1. P Amudha, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Chennai.
2. Dr. Atul Anand, Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department.
3. Sudeep Jain, On central deputation as Additional Secretary to Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
4. Kakarla Usha, Additional Chief Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department.
5. Selvi Apoorva, Agriculture Production Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture-Farmers Welfare Department.
