Tamil Nadu: 48 IPS officers shifted

The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday (07.01.2024) issued transfer orders for 48 IPS officers across the state while promoting 16.

The names of the officers and their postings are given below:

1. R Tamilchandran, IGP, Crime against Women and Children, Chennai, has been promoted and posted as ADGP, Crime against Women and Children by upgrading the IGP post.
2. V Jeyashri, SP-I, Crime against Women and Children, Chennai, has been promoted and posted as IGP, Operations, Chennai.
3. Dr B Shamoondeswari, DIGP, Hqrs, O/o DGP/HoPF, Chennai, has been promoted and transferred as IGP, Social Justice and Human Rights, Chennai.
