Tamil Nadu: 17 IPS officers shifted, RK Meena posted as CP of Tirunelveli

The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday (03.08.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 17 IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Shailesh Kumar Yadav (IPS:1993:TN), DGP, Idol Wing CID, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DGP/CMD, Tamil Nadu Police Housing Corporation Limited.
2. Dr. R Dhinakaran (IPS:1998:TN), IGP, Idol Wing CID, Chennai, will hold full additional charge of ADGP, Idol Wing CID, Chennai.
3. T Senthil Kumar (IPS:2001:TN), IGP, Office of the DGP (HoPF), Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP, West Zone, Coimbatore.
4. K Bhavaneeswari (IPS:2002:TN), IGP, West Zone, Coimbatore, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Office of the DGP (HoPF).
5. Rupesh Kumar Meena (IPS:2005:TN), IGP, Establishment, Office of the DGP (HoPF), Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP/ Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli City.
6. Dr. Mahender Kumar Rathod (IPS:2001:TN), IGP/ Director (Investigation), State Human Rights Commission, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Social Justice & Human Rights, Office of the DGP (HoPF), Chennai.
7. Dr. B Shamoondeswari (IPS:2006:TN), IGP, Social Justice & Human Rights, Office of the DGP (HoPF), Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Office of the DGP (HoPF), Chennai.
8. A Radhika (IPS:2004:TN), IGP, Crime, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP/Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
9. Dr. PK Senthil Kumari (IPS:2004:TN), IGP/Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Crime, Chennai.
10. Najmul Hoda (IPS:2001:TN), IGP, Welfare, Office of the DGP (HoPF), Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Modernisation, Office of the DGP (HoPF), Chennai.
11. Dr. Pa Moorthy (IPS:2010:TN), DIGP/ Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli City, has been transferred and posted as DIGP, Tirunelveli Range, Tirunelveli.
12. Pravesh Kumar (IPS:2007:TN), DIGP, Tirunelveli Range, Tirunelveli, has been transferred and posted as DIGP/Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, North, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
13. Abhishek Dixit (IPS:2006:TN), DIGP/Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, North, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DIGP, Railways, Chennai.
14. Dr. Abhinav Kumar (IPS:2009:TN), DIGP, Dindigul Range, Dindigul, has been transferred and posted as DGIP, Ramanathapuram Range, Ramanathapuram.
