Tamil Nadu: 16 IAS officers transferred

The Tamil Nadu government on Monday (22.07.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 16 IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. S Sheik Abdul Rahaman (IAS:2017:TN), Commissioner, Corporation of Avadi, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration.
2. Durga Moorthi (IAS), District Revenue Officer, Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner (Administration), Commercial Taxes.
3. K Karpagam (IAS:2014:TN), Collector, Perambalur District, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department.
4. Kavitha Ramu (IAS:2014:TN), MD, Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Director, Museums.
5. R Ambalavanan (IA&AS), MD, POWERFIN, has been transferred and posted as Director, Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute.
6. H Krishnanunni (IAS:2012:TN), Joint Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Treasuries and Accounts.
7. Dr. N O Sukhaputra (IAS:2017:TN), Additional Collector (Development)/ Project Officer, DRDA, Tiruvallur, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Corporation of Tirunelveli for appointment as its Commissioner.
8. H S Srikanth (IAS:2016:TN), Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Public (Elections) Department has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Corporation of Hosur for appointment as its Commissioner.
9. Dr. S Anu (IAS:2017:TN), formerly Deputy Secretary (Protocol), Public Department, has been transferred and her services are placed at the disposal of Corporation of Cuddalore for appointment as its Commissioner
10. Ranjeet Singh (IAS:2016:TN), Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer, DRDA, Nagapattinam, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Corporation of Salem for appointment as its Commissioner.
11. S Kandasamy (IAS:2009:TN), Reception Officer and Joint State Protocol Officer, State Guest House, Chennai, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Corporation of Avadi for appointment as its Commissioner.
12. R Sadheesh (IAS), GM (Marketing), Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Chennai, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of DRDA, Erode for appointment as its Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer.
13. K Vivekanandan (IAS:2006:TN), Commissioner of Handlooms, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited for appointment as its Managing Director.
14. Hanish Chhabra (IAS:2006:TN), Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of New Tiruppur Area Development Corporation Limited for appointment as its Managing Director.
15. A Sivagnanam (IAS:2010:TN), Additional Secretary, Public Department, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority for appointment as its Chief Executive Officer.
16. S Amirtha Jothi (IAS:2011:TN), Director of Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited for appointment as its Managing Director.
