The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday (16.07.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 15 IAS officers heading key departments, including the Collectors of four districts. Home Secretary P Amudha has been transferred, and Dheeraj Kumar has been appointed as the new Home Secretary of the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- S Madhumathi (IAS:2003:TN), MD, SIDCO, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, School Education Department.
- Dr. J Radhakrishnan (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department.
- Dr. K Gopal (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries-Fishermen Welfare Department.
- Har Sahay Meena (IAS:1997:TN), Principal Secretary/Commissioner, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Social Initiatives Department.
- K Veera Raghava Rao (IAS:2007:TN), Commissioner, Technical Education, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department.
- Kumar Jayant (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Services Department.
- Dheeraj Kumar (IAS:1993:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Services Department, has been transferred and posted as Home, Prohibition and Excise Department.
- P Amudha (IAS:1994:TN), Principal Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
- V Rajaraman (IAS:2005:TN), Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Tamil Development and Information Department.
- Dr. S Suresh Kumar (IAS:2009:TN), CEO, Tamil Nadu Khadi & Village Industries Board , has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Backward Classes, MBC & Minorities Welfare Department.
- C A Rishab (IAS:2019:TN), Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer, DRDA, Thiruvannamalai, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department.
- B Vishnu Chandran (IAS:2015:TN), Collector, Ramanathapuram District, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Public Department.
- S Valarmathi (IAS:2012:TN), Collector, Ranipet District, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Social Welfare & Women Empowerment Department. She shall also function as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Working Women Hostel Corporation.
- J Anne Mary Swarna (IAS:2014:TN), Collector, Ariyalur District, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department.
- Sravan Kumar Jatavath (IAS:2014:TN), formerly Collector, Kallakurichi District, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department.
