Tamil Nadu: 14 IAS officers shifted, N Muruganandam posted as ACS to CM

In a bureaucratic reshuffle in Tamil Nadu, senior IAS officer N Muruganandam has been made Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister and T Udayachandran has been posted as Principal Secretary, Finance on Saturday.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. N Muruganandam (IAS:1991:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary/Secretary-I to CM and will also hold the post of Development Commissioner.
2. T Udhayachandran (IAS:1995:TN), Principal Secretary/Secretary I to CM, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Finance Department.
3. P Amudha (IAS:1994:TN), Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department.
4. K Phanindra Reddy (IAS:1990:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department.
5. Dr. K Gopal (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary/ Vigilance Commissioner.
6. Gagandeep Singh Bedi (IAS:1993:TN), Principal Secretary/Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department.
7. Dr. P Senthilkumar (IAS:1992:TN), Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.
8. Dr. K Manivasan (IAS:1996:TN), Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Tourism, Culture, and Religious Endowments Department.
9. Dr. B Chandra Mohan (IAS:1995:TN), Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture, and Religious Endowments Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Public Works Department.
10. Dr. D Jagannathan (IAS:2004:TN), Secretary, Public and Rehabilitation Department is transferred and posted as Secretary, Cooperation, Food, and Consumer Protection Department.
11. K Nanthakumar (IAS:2007:TN), Commissioner, School Education Department, has been appointed as Secretary, Human Resources Management Department.
12. Mythili K Rajendran (IAS:2002:TN), Secretary, Human Resources Management Department is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy.
13. S Ganesh (IAS:2009:TN), Director of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy is transferred and posted as Director of Economics and Statistics.
14. Dr. J Radhakrishnan (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Food and Consumer Protection Department has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary / Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC).
