Tamil Nadu: 13 IPS officers shifted

The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday (12.03.2024) effected major reshuffle in police administration by issuing transfer orders for 13 IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings as follows;

1. PC Thenmozhi (IPS:2002:TN), IGP, Special Investigation Division, CB CID, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as IGP/Additional Director, Tamil Nadu, Police Academy, Oonamanchery, Vabdalpur, Chennai.
2. Yadav Girish Ashok (IPS:2019:TN), Assistant SP, Arakkonam Sub Division, Ranipet, has been promoted to SP rank and posted as DCP, Law & Order South, Tiruppur City.
3. Madhu Kumari (IPS:2020:TN), Assistant SP, Uthamapalayam Sub Division, Theni District, has been prmoted to SP rank and posted as DCP, Law & Order, North, Madurai City.
4. Dr. R Stalin (IPS:2020:TN), Assistant SP, Karaukudi Sub Division, Sivaganga District, has been promoted to SP rank and posted as DCP, Law & Order, North Coimbatore City.
5. Vivekanand Shukla (IPS:2020:TN), Assistant SP, Thiruvallur Sub Division, Thiruvallur District, has been promoted to SP rank and posted as DCP, North, Trichy City.
6. Garad Karun Uddhavrao (IPS:2020:TN), Assistant SP, Aruppukottal Sub Division, Virudhunagar District.
7. V Anbu (IPS), DCP, North Trichy City, Trichy, has been transferred and posted as SP, Railways, Chennai.
8. S Vanitha (IPS), DCP, South, Trichy City, has been transferred and posted as SP, State Police Master Control Room, Chennai.
9. D Ramesh Babu (IPS), SP, State Police Master Control Room, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Modern Control Room, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
10. S S Maheswaran (IPS:2012:TN), DCP, Modern Control Room, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Security, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai,
11. Rohith Nathan Rajagopal (IPS:2013:TN), DCP, Law & Order, North, Coimbatore City, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Coimbatore City.
12. P Balaji (IPS), DCP, South, Madurai City, has been transferred and posted as Assistant IG, Welfare. O/o the DGP, Chennai.
13. K Adhiveera Pandiyan (IPS), SP, Coastal Security Group, Nagapattinam, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Administration, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
