Tamil Nadu: 13 IAS officers shifted, Kumar Jayant is posted as ACS, Labour Welfare and Skill Development

The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday (19.08.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 13 IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. V Rajaraman (IAS:2005:TN), Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
2. Kumar Jayant (IAS:1994:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Welfare and Skill Development.
3. Sigy Thomas Vaidhyan (IAS:2002:TN), Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Department.
4. Dr. R Anandkumar (IAS:2005:TN), Secretary, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Anna Administrative Staff College and Director General of Training.
5. Archana Patnaik (IAS:2013:TN), Chairperson, Teachers Recruitment Board, has been transferred and posted as Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce.
6. Pooja Kulkarni (IAS:2003:TN), Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
7. G Prakash (IAS:2000:TN), Commissioner of Archives and Historical Research, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Revenue Administration.
8. V Kalaiarasi (IAS:2005:TN), Additional Commissioner of Revenue Administration, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department with additional charge of Chairperson, Medical Services Recruitment Board.
9. P Sri Venkata Priya (IAS:2011:TN), Controller of Examinations, Teachers Recruitment Board, has been transferred and posted as Chairperson, Teachers Recruitment Board.
10. Vikram Kapur (IAS:1988:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation (TANSIDCO) for appointment as its Additional Chief Secretary/Chairman.
11. Monika Rana (IAS:2018:TN), Project Director, Special Area Development Programme, Udhagamandalam and Managing Director (FAC), INDCOSERVE, has been transferred and her services are placed at the disposal of District Rural Development Agancy, Madurai for appointment as its Additional Collector (Dev.)/ Project Officer.
12. S Saravanan (IAS:2016:TN), Additional Collector (Dev.)/Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Madurai, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board for appointment as its Executive Director.
13. Dr. K Gopal (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary/ Vigiliance Commissioner and Commissioner for Administrative Reforms shall hold full additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department.
