Tamil Nadu: 11 IPS officers shifted, R Srinivasa Perumal posted as SP of Thiruvallur

The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday (27.01.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 11 IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. R Srinivasa Perumal (IPS), Superintendent of Police (SP), Compulsory Wait at O/o the DGP/HoPF, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP, Thiruvallur District.
2. Pakerla Cephas Kalyan (IPS:2011:TN), SP of Thiruvallur District, has been transferred and posted as SP, EOW, South Zone, Chennai.
3. S Sakthivel (IPS), DCP, Kolathur, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP-I, Security Branch, CID, Chennai.
4. R Pandiarajan (IPS), SP, Central Intelligence Unit, Prohibition Offences Wing, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Kolathur, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
5. Dr. P Saminathan (IPS:2012:TN), SP, Tiruppur District, has been transferred and posted as SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, South Range, Chennai.
6. V Shyamala Devi (IPS), SP, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, North Range, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP, Central Intelligence Unit, Prohibition Offences Wing, Chennai.
7. V Saravana Kumar (IPS), SP, SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, South Range, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, North Range, Chennai.
8. Abhishek Gupta (IPS:2019:TN), DCP, Law & Order, North, Tiruppur City, has been transferred and posted as SP, Tiruppur District.
9. Rohith Nathan Rajagopal (IPS:2013:TN), DCP, Anna Nagar, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order, North, Coimbatore City.
10. M Rajarajan (IPS), DCP, Traffic, Coimbatore City, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order, North, Tiruppur City.
11. GS Anitha (IPS), DCP, Law & Order, North, Madurai City, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Hqrs, Tirunelveli City.
