The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday (27.01.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 11 IPS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- R Srinivasa Perumal (IPS), Superintendent of Police (SP), Compulsory Wait at O/o the DGP/HoPF, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP, Thiruvallur District.
- Pakerla Cephas Kalyan (IPS:2011:TN), SP of Thiruvallur District, has been transferred and posted as SP, EOW, South Zone, Chennai.
- S Sakthivel (IPS), DCP, Kolathur, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP-I, Security Branch, CID, Chennai.
- R Pandiarajan (IPS), SP, Central Intelligence Unit, Prohibition Offences Wing, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Kolathur, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
- Dr. P Saminathan (IPS:2012:TN), SP, Tiruppur District, has been transferred and posted as SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, South Range, Chennai.
- V Shyamala Devi (IPS), SP, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, North Range, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP, Central Intelligence Unit, Prohibition Offences Wing, Chennai.
- V Saravana Kumar (IPS), SP, SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, South Range, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, North Range, Chennai.
- Abhishek Gupta (IPS:2019:TN), DCP, Law & Order, North, Tiruppur City, has been transferred and posted as SP, Tiruppur District.
- Rohith Nathan Rajagopal (IPS:2013:TN), DCP, Anna Nagar, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order, North, Coimbatore City.
