Tamil Nadu: 11 IAS officers shifted

The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday (01.07.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 11 IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Dr. D Karthikeyan (IAS:1997:TN), Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department.
2. A Karthik (IAS:1996:TN), Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department, is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department.
3. Mangat Ram Sharma (IAS:1992:TN), Additional Chief Secretary, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department.
4. Reeta Harish Thakkar (IAS:2002:TN), Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department is transferred and posted as Secretary, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department.
5. The services of Vishu Mahajan (IAS:2016:TN), Deputy Commissioner (Revenue & Finance), Greater Chennai Corporation are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) for his appointment as its Joint Managing Director (Finance).
6. The services of Anand Mohan (IAS:2018:TN), Commissioner, Corporation of Nagercoil are placed at the disposal of Greater Chennai Corporation for appointment as its Deputy Commissioner (Revenue & Finance).
7. The services of A Annadurai (IAS:2010:TN), Project Director, Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project, Project Director, Chennai-Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor (FAC) and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Road Development Company are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation for appointment as its Managing Director.
8. The services of Dr. S Prabhakar (IAS:2009:TN), Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project for appointment as its Project Director. He will also hold the full additional charge of the post of Project Director, Chennai-Kenniyakumari Industrial Corridor (FAC) and also function as MD, Tamil Nadu Road Development Company.
9. K Elambahavath (IAS:2016:TN), MD, Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Services Corporation shall hold full additional charge of the post of Officer on Special Duty, Magalir Urimaithogai Project.
10. Archana Patnaik (IAS:2013:TN), Chairperson, Teachers Recruitment Board, shall hold full additional charge of the post of Chairman, Medical Services Recruitment Board.
11. Dr. N Subbaiyan (IAS:2007:TN), Registrar of Cooperative Societies shall hold the full additional charge of OSD, Kalaignar Centenary Function.
