Tamil Nadu : 09 IPS officers shifted, Md. Shakeel Akhtar is DG, CB-CID

The Tamil Nadu government on Monday (10.05.2021) issued transfer posting orders of nine IPS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Md Shakeel Akhtar (IPS:1989:TN) : DGP, CB-CID.
2. P Kandaswamy (IPS:1989:TN) : DGP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption.
3. Dr. M Ravi (IPS:1991:TN) : ADG, Administration.
4. C Eswaramoorthy (IPS:1991:TN) : IGP, Intelligence (Internal Security).
5. Mrs N Z Asiammal : DIG, Intelligence.
6. P Aravindhan (IPS:2010:TN) : SP, Special Branch, CID.
7. S Saravanan : SP-II, Organised Crime Intelligence Unit, Chennai.
8. R Thirunavukkarasu : SP, Security Branch CID-I, Chennai.
9. P Saminathan : SP, Security Branch CID-II, Chennai.
