T K Ramachandran (IAS:1991:TN), currently serving as the Secretary of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of the Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Monday, December 18, 2023, stating that the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge to Mr. Ramachandran. This additional charge will be in effect until December 31, 2023, during the period of absence on leave of Ms. V Vidyavathi (IAS:1991:KN).
