Sweta Mohanty (IAS:2011:TG), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, has been re-designated as Director. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (30.12.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate Mohanty’s post to Director level with effect from January 1, 2025, or the date she assumes charge of the re-designated post and for a period upto August 1, 2028 i.e. total tenure of five years under the central staffing scheme.
It is noteworthy that Sweta Mohanty commenced her central deputation tenure on August 02, 2023.
